tomizs.com is operated by Shaked Volozinski Lanes, trading as TomiZ ("TomiZ", "we"). This policy explains what information is collected when you browse the site or fill in a form, why, who it is shared with, and what your rights are. Using the site is subject to this policy.
1. Information you give us
We only collect what you enter yourself in the site's forms:
- Contact form: your name, phone number, email address, topic, and, if you choose to fill them in, your organization and message.
- Guide downloads (such as the AI dictionary): your first name, email address, and whether you asked to receive tips and updates.
The page the form was sent from and the time it was sent are saved with it.
You are under no legal obligation to provide this information. It is up to you. Without contact details we cannot get back to you or send you what you asked for.
2. Information collected automatically
- Meta Pixel: the site uses the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram). It stores cookies in your browser and sends Meta technical information about your visit, such as the pages you viewed, your browser and device type and your IP address. We use it to measure our advertising and to show TomiZ ads to people who visited the site. The details you enter in forms are not sent to Meta. Meta also processes this information under its own privacy policy.
- Server data: our hosting provider, Netlify, automatically logs technical data such as IP address and browser type to run and secure the site.
- Accessibility preferences: if you change settings in the accessibility menu, they are saved in your browser only and are not sent to us.
3. How we use the information
- To get back to you and provide the service you asked for.
- To send you a guide or material you requested.
- To send tips, content and updates, only if you ticked that you'd like them.
- To measure and improve the site and TomiZ's advertising.
- To comply with the law and protect the site from misuse.
4. Emails and updates
We send marketing content, such as tips and workshop updates, only if you explicitly agreed to it. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email, by replying to it, or by writing to office@tomizs.com.
5. Who we share it with
We never sell your information or share it with third parties for their own marketing. It is shared only with service providers that help us run the site and the business, and only as far as needed:
- Netlify: website hosting.
- Make: an automation service that passes form details to TomiZ's mailbox.
- Meta: advertising and measurement through the pixel, as described in section 2.
- Google: the email service (Gmail) where enquiries are received and managed.
Some of these providers operate outside Israel, so your information may be stored or processed outside Israel. We may also disclose information where required by law or by order of a competent authority.
6. Cookies and how to control them
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. On this site they are used mainly by the Meta Pixel. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and manage your ad preferences in your Meta account settings. Blocking cookies does not affect your use of the site.
7. Retention and security
We keep information for as long as it is needed for the purposes described here, or as required by law. We take reasonable measures to protect it and limit access to it. No system is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection against unauthorized access or use.
8. Your rights
Under Israel's Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, you may:
- See the information held about you.
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong, incomplete or out of date, or to delete it.
- Ask not to receive marketing from us, and to be removed from our mailing list.
To exercise these rights, write to office@tomizs.com and we will get back to you promptly.
9. Minors
The site and services are intended for organizations, professionals and adults. We do not knowingly collect information about minors.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page, with the date of the update at the top.
